What a Trooper!

So... for any of you that know me well, you probably know that I like unique and corky things, but yet functional and cute. Well, it is that time of year again for Christmas pictures, and we couldn't have what everyone else had.

Our good friend Amber, from Life Art Protography, took them again, over at the dock in Pacific Beach. It was really busy, and I decided that we needed a Christmas tree there for the right effect!

So, there was good old Kyle carrying a Christmas tree down the boardwalk in the middle of November, with tons of on lookers (oh yea the red stripped shirt I made him wear didn't help). Good thing the slightly brused ego wasn't anything a nice cold beer couldn't heal afterwards! Thanks honey for being such a good sport, and I am sorry in advance for what I will come up with for next years pictures :).

I think the pictures turned out great! I made the kids little outfits and a scarf for myself (something I will most likely only be able to get away with for a few more years). Here are some of the pictures that were my favorites, but didn't make the Christmas card...

Isn't Kaylee's noggin topper cute, that is of course from Tutumonkey. I believe more are coming to her shop for Spring?

What a gorgeous family!!!! Love the photos! Is Kyle available to carry my tree next year?? Rick would need more than a beer.

too cute! love you guys! Kyle is a trooper. I think my husband would have laughed at me if I asked him to haul that tree out there.

Beautiful pictures, beautiful family! If these are the ones that *didn't* get picked, I can only imagine how great the ones that did get picked are.
